The Blackbird Collection/ White Eggshell Evening Wear Gown II
White Eggshell Evening Wear Gown II
Architectural and theatrical, this original Lavergne Blackbird Collection design concept combines an eggshell-white floor-length silhouette with contrasting black details, a sculptural removable overlay, and decorative black stones.
This is a design concept, not a finished garment currently available for purchase. Images illustrate the intended design direction. Proposed materials, embellishments, fit, and construction require sample development and manufacturer confirmation.
The gown concept
- A long eggshell-white gown with a proposed black velvet half-top panel across the front bust.
- A right-side cut-out envisioned to extend from the hip to beneath the bust.
- An open back framed with proposed sheer lace trim.
- One long sheer sleeve, with a leafy decorative detail extending outward halfway down the arm and scattered decorative black stones.
- Decorative black stones accenting the right shoulder.
- A hem split with a proposed sheer flared insert.
Proposed removable overlay
The design envisions an optional right-side overlay attached with snaps. Its secure attachment, flexibility, comfort, and removability must be tested during sample development.
- A lightweight, sheer, glassy-looking flexible overlay; its final material remains to be determined.
- Four cascading flaps extending toward the right-side hem.
- Black scalloped edges and proposed black velvet trim along the flap hems.
- Four soft, fuzzy flower accents at the tips. The original material direction proposes a velvety mink texture; composition and sourcing are not confirmed.
- Decorative black stones distributed across the overlay.
- Two optional soft black feathered shoulder or neckline accents, with proposed small flexible wire supports, puff flowers, and decorative black stones.
Material and development notes
Velvet, silk for the sheer sleeve and hem details, lace, feather detailing, and the proposed fuzzy accents describe the intended material direction, not verified finished specifications. The decorative stones are not represented as diamonds or rubies; their type, composition, and settings remain unconfirmed.
The concept envisions a dramatic look with the overlay and both feather accents, and a simpler silhouette without them. Final materials, construction, sizing, pricing, production availability, and delivery terms will be confirmed before sale.
