The Fabric

The Silhouette

The entire dress is enveloped in sweeping draped layers that drop and swoop gracefully from the right side of the body across the bodice, creating a fluid, cascading effect that is both sculptural and breathtaking. The Shoulder & Waist Detail

A wide sweeping sheer pure silk chiffon flap drapes broadly over the top of the one shoulder, flowing softly to the left in a soft, dramatic drape. The same fluid fabric continues downward — a signature Lavergne detail that blurs the line between fashion and fine art.

The Hem

The hem is cut in a round shape around the dress in rows of drapes — layers beginning at the top and continuing downward to the right side of the bodice, sitting lower on one side to the hem in a horizontal swooping shape that reveals the dress underneath the layers on the right side of the bodice. Both sides connect at the waistline to the right, just above the hip, creating a dramatic asymmetric silhouette. The left side sits higher, starting at the waistline, crossing the hipbone, and circling around the back higher up on the left side of the hip — a breathtaking architectural detail that is entirely Lavergne.
